Custom titanium alloy disc spring and elastic component dimensions built to drawings, load curves and installation envelopes.
TC4 / Ti-6Al-4V / Ti 64 / Grade 5 and TC6 titanium alloy.
-200 deg C to +300 deg C typical for spring review; final limit depends on stress, time at temperature and corrosion environment.
RFQ DATA CHECKLIST
For a faster quotation, include the basic spring geometry, target load and service condition. If a value is not confirmed yet, send the drawing or installed photos and mark it as estimated.
| Grade | Common designation | Density | Typical tensile strength | Typical yield strength | Elastic modulus |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TC4 | Ti-6Al-4V / Grade 5 | 4.43 g/cm3 | 895-1100 MPa | 825-1000 MPa | 110-114 GPa |
| TC6 | Ti-6Al-2.5Mo-1.5Cr-0.5Fe-0.3Si | about 4.55 g/cm3 | 980-1180 MPa | 880-1050 MPa | 110-120 GPa |
Values are typical datasheet ranges. Final spring rating should be based on certified mill data, heat treatment and fatigue validation.
| Grade | Best fit | Main advantage | Design caution |
|---|---|---|---|
| TC4 / Ti-6Al-4V | Lightweight corrosion-resistant components | High specific strength and broad availability | Lower modulus than steel changes load-deflection behavior |
| TC6 | Higher strength titanium spring components | Better strength margin after suitable heat treatment | Requires tighter review of heat treatment, fatigue and sourcing route |
Ti-6Al-4V Belleville washer, TC4 disc spring and titanium alloy spring component RFQs usually need lower weight, corrosion resistance or non-magnetic behavior rather than a direct steel replacement.
Useful RFQ inputs include target load, working deflection, installation envelope, weight limit, temperature, corrosion media, magnetic requirement, fatigue cycle and whether TC4 or TC6 is preferred.
Because titanium has a lower elastic modulus than steel, the geometry and stack layout should be recalculated before a standard spring drawing is reused. For Ti 64 springs, send the load target, available height, weight limit and whether the part must remain non-magnetic.

Read GuideThey are useful when weight reduction, corrosion resistance or non-magnetic behavior matters enough to justify lower modulus and higher material cost compared with steels.
Usually not as a drop-in substitution. Titanium has a lower elastic modulus, so the spring geometry and stack design should be recalculated around the target load and travel.
In most sourcing discussions, Ti 64, Ti-64, Grade 5 and TC4 point to the same Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy family. The practical review is whether the part should be a Belleville washer, disc spring stack or custom titanium elastic component.
